DIY Facemasks

1) Spiced SPOT Reducing Skin Mask
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Nutmeg
2 tbsp Honey (organic and local if possible)

Combine ingredients, apply to cleansed skin and leave on for 30 mins. Rinse with warm water. Finish with normal skincare routine.

2) OILY Skin Mask
1 Avacado
1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
1 Egg White

Combine all to make a paste. Apply to cleansed skin and leave on for 30 mins. Rinse with warm water. Finish with normal skincare routine.

3) Milk and Honey Oaty Face Mask
15g Porridge Oats
5ml Whole Milk
1 1/2 tbsp Honey (organic and local if possible)

Combine all ingredients and leave to thicken for 5 mins. Apply to cleansed skin and leave on for 30 mins. Rinse with warm water. Finish with normal skincare routine.

4) Another SPOT Inflammation Reducing Skin Mask

1 Egg White
15g Porridge Oats

Combine ingredients, apply to cleansed skin and leave on for 30 mins. Rinse with warm water. Finish with normal skincare routine.

{I tried this face mask last night and it leaves your skin feeling smooth as a babies bum. When you remove the mask use a flannel in a circular motion as the oats act as an exfoliater. You can then use the egg yolk as a moisturiser}

5) Rice Bran and Water/Milk Face Mask

15g Rice Bran
5ml Water or Whole Milk or Yogurt

Combine ingredients, apply to cleansed skin and leave on for 30 mins. Rinse with warm water. Finish with normal skincare routine.

All of the above face masks which are made using fresh products such as egg and milk can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days so you can use them a couple of times a week.
